Crossing Rivers Health Foundation announces the 7th annual Golf Classic to be held on Wednesday, September 12th at the Prairie du Chien Country Club.

The Golf Classic is a flighted, best ball tournament and is sure to be fun for golfers and non-golfers alike. “Since the event began in 2012, we have raised $75,000 which has been invested directly toward necessary health care equipment and programs at Crossing Rivers Health,” said Sasha Dull, Chief Development Officer. “Each of our event sponsors and the participants are ultimately making an investment in the health and wellness of this region- and they’re having fun doing it,” added Dull.

Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. The tournament will begin with a group putt-off and a shotgun start at noon. There will be a silent auction in the newly renovated club house, contests and activities on the course, as well as prizes awarded for first, middle and last place teams.

Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will help to further establish the Dave Breitbach Memorial Fund. Contributions to this fund will be used for a community-based wellness project which will benefit the region. Dave Breitbach served more than 22 years as the Chief Financial Officer at Crossing Rivers Health, before passing away as a result of a motorcycle accident in July of 2017. To ensure Dave’s legacy lives on, a memorial fund was established with contributions made to the Foundation in his memory.
