September is National Public Lands Month! Join Clayton County Conservation for a part-celebration, part-clinic event at Bloody Run County Park on Thursday, September 28th at 4:15 PM. Participants will get a crash course in creating hiking trails with hand tools by helping maintain the rugged, 1 mile Well’s Hollow trail.

All ages are welcome at the event, but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Safety glasses and gloves will be provided. Participants are urged to bring their own water bottle, along with comfortable shoes, pants, and long sleeves. Meet at the main campground.

Bloody Run Campground is located on Bloody Run Road, off HWY 18 about two miles west of Marquette, IA.
